Discoveries Unlimited and The Challenger Learning Center of NWI partnered together in April 2011 to shine a bright light on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Our mission was, and continues to be, to inspire youth to explore the infinite possibilities that education and careers in STEM offer. Former NASA Astronaut Captain Wendy Lawrence delivered the keynote address inspiring our Region’s youth to “stick with math and science, because the rewards are tremendous”.
