Welcome to Lizzie’s Blog!

I am a member of Discoveries Unlimited, a mentoring group based in Northwest Indiana. Discoveries Unlimited provides mentors and field trips for 6th to 8th grade girls interested in careers involving Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math; or STEM.

I am in 8th grade and this current semester is my 1st as a member of Discoveries Unlimited. My mentor is Maralyn A., and she is a Program Leader in the Environmental, Safety and Sustainability department at NiSource.

I like Discoveries Unlimited because the field trips we go on are so fun, I’ve learned a lot, and my mentor is awesome!!!!

This blog will be about my experiences as a Discoveries Unlimited mentee. It will include posts about DU field trips and things I have learned in DU, mentor/mentee interviews, and photos!!
